These beautiful hand made earrings have solid silver ear posts and are made of flat cut polished brass. Nickel free and hypo-allergenic. Dress them down or up, they give a cool vibe for evening or day time alike.
The teardrop symbol occurs in many places around the world. In ancient Egypt, the Eye of Horus contains a teardrop. The teardrop has been associated with a falcon which symbolises strength, accurate vision, and power. Another Ancient Egyptian teardrop symbol is the top of the ankh. Many ancient Egyptian goddesses carried these symbols for protection. The keyhole represents having a clearer perspective on things, overcoming an obstacle or challenge and a transformation of self.
