VOLCANIC SYMBOLIC NAVIGATION SILVER

This one of the TRIBE + FABLE symbols. The cornerless square represents the squaring of planets, geometery and compasses. It throws back to ancient travel, navigation by stars and symoblises north, south, east and west. On a spiritual level it represents life's rich journey, representing which direction you may take your life in next, a guiding star, a leap of faith.

The weighty cross pendant, hand cast traditionally in sand and wax by our Maasai in the Ngong Hills of Kenya from recycled padlocks. It is then silver plated before it journeys on to bali where the necklace it integrated into the design. Made up of hand knotted volcanic stones, fine crystals with small silver coloured cubes which catch the light spaced between. Two grey crackle agates separate the upper and lower sections. 

In relation to our solar system and planetary alignment a square creates tension between the planets and points involved. Tension is necessary in order to stimulate action. When the planets form a square, they are acting at cross purposes. With squares, we may overdo and run into difficult obstacles before we achieve our goals, however these squares force us out of complacency and stimulate ambition. They force one to grow and learn valuable life lessons.
